The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol is engaging positively with sustainability as a fundamental challenge for engineering disciplines.
We are looking to expand our capabilities in teaching in the field of thermodynamics in the context of sustainability.
The Department is a part of the School of Civil, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, renowned for delivering both high quality teaching and world-class research; attracting the highest calibre of students and providing an intellectually stimulating environment for academic staff.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering thermodynamics teaching to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The role is mainly based on teaching, educational scholarship and educational leadership.
You will take an active role in creating a world class learning environment based on best practice in engineering education and are encouraged to perform engineering education research.
