Based at Claritum in Bath, Somerset, the post is funded through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Bristol and Claritum and will include relevant training.
You will be at the heart of an exciting collaboration between Claritum and the Department of Computer Science to explore automation of procurement processes through machine learning.
The collaboration will involve using machine learning to develop novel text classification algorithms that will enable robust, accurate, and scalable classification of spend.
This will give Claritum the capability to position itself strategically with an innovative product in target markets.
You will be involved in the entire software development cycle for a new procurement analytics platform. You will use Artificial Intelligence to automate standard, currently labour-intensive industry data analytics processes to build a new spend analytics platform.
You will work closely with Claritum staff develop the technology and to identify the best pathways for its application and commercialisation.
You will be based at the company’s headquarters in Bath and will receive regular supervision from an academic at the University of Bristol.
This is a two-year fixed term contract, but it is expected that opportunities will arise at the end of the KTP for a permanent role at Claritum as the company expands its machine learning division.
