University College Cork wishes to appoint a Professor of international standing to a Professorship of Diagnostic Radiography within the College of Medicine and Health. This is an exciting opportunity for leadership in a vibrant community of academic staff and full-time students at MSc and PhD levels.
The post will be positioned within the Schools of Medicine and Clinical Therapies and the Professor will be expected to provide leadership and support for teaching and research activities within the discipline. The appointee will have a substantial international reputation in Diagnostic Radiography, a demonstrable track record of excellence in the delivery of research-led teaching at postgraduate levels as well as the capacity to provide strong and proactive academic leadership.
Candidates will be expected to hold a Ph.D.

Appointment may be made on the Professor Salary Scale: €111,196 - €144,187 (Scale B)
In all instances the successful appointment will be at the first point of the scale.
