RIGHT NOW we recruiting talented postdoctoral scientists having Ph.D. with a solid background in: Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Computer science, Physical sciences, Biological, Pharmaceutical sciences, Pharmacokinetics and Analytical chemistry (HPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS), Molecular Medicine or Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational biology, Precision medicine.

Now the following topics are the priority for our Institutes:

Institute for Regenerative Medicine
  1. Development of biomimetic tissue engineering approaches for tissue formation and recovery of its morpho functional characteristics;
  2. Development of tissue-engineered pre-vascularized bioequivalents with multilayer epithelial lining for reconstructive urogenital surgery;
  3. Hybrid assemblies of decellularized bovine pericardia and vasculogenic hydrogels towards personalized soft tissue xenotransplantation;
  4. Development of prototypes biomedical functional systems based on laser-structured graphene substrates.
The Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IRM), Sechenov University (Russia) was established by the merger of the scientific groups of Sechenov University, which had work in the field of regenerative medicine for a long time before. The research groups involved scientists from the Institute of the Molecular Medicine and the Institute of Uronephrology, as well as a large number of scientists from leading Russian and foreign laboratories. Now the Institute have a number of the leading International scientific people in the stuff.

Our structure includes: Advanced Cell Technology Department, Modern Biomaterials Division, Bioimaging Department (Laboratory of Experimental Morphology, Experimental Optical Image Laboratory), Laboratory of Tissue Engineering, Department of Regenerative Surgery of the Liver and Pancreas.

Our mission is to treat patients using the methods of regenerative medicine

Laboratory for Pharmacokinetics and Metabolomics
(Institute for Pharmacy and Translational Medicine)
  1. The evaluation of new animal and biological systems models for assessing the toxicity in drug development.
  2. In vivo and in vitro pharmacokinetic and metabolomic profiling for new psychoactive substances.
  3. Evaluation of biomarkers for the early diagnosis of oncology diseases.
The Laboratory of Pharmacokinetics and Metabolomics was founded in 2015 as a division of the Research Institute of Pharmacy and Translational Medicine of the Sechenov University*. The laboratory is specialized in bioanalytical studies including proteomics and metabolomics. We can support both preclinical and clinical research protocols through the development and utilization of bioanalytical methods. Our analytical capabilities include but not limited to HPLC and GC systems with single and triple-quadrupole mass spectrometry as well as high resolution mass spectrometry. The laboratory team includes 10 employees, 8 of which hold a PhD degree.

Our projects focus on pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, as well as proteomics and metabolomics.

Center for Personalized Oncology
(Institute for Personalized Medicine)
  1. Molecular and gene diagnostics
  2. Targeted therapy in oncology
The Center was established this year and is currently preparing for its opening. The Research Institute was found in 2016. Our mission is to develop and implement in clinical practice new approaches in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of patients on the basis of modern achievements of personalized medicine. Our goal is to provide the modern standards of high education to whom who are looking to get highest qualification on international level. Besides the theoretical side, this kind of preparation is closely connected with research work in the field of personalized medicine conducted at the departments of the Institute.

Our structure includes: the Department of Personalized Medicine, the Department of Information and Internet Technologies, Laboratory of IT and Internet technologies development and Specialized department of personalized medicine.

Employees of the Institute conduct research on various topics that are of major importance in modern clinical practice, personalization of the approach to the treatment of cardiovascular pathology, anticoagulant therapy, early diagnosis and preventive treatment of autoimmune diseases and oncological pathology.
